Balancing school and work is a reality for many students throughout the school year. Certain moments are more critical than others in a student’s educational career. The Projet PRÉE targets these moments and uses them to send a clear message to employers and to students: education is the priority!
Back to school is a sensitive period for young people who combine school and work. From August 27 to September 6, 2019, the Projet PRÉE launches a clear message to make employers and students aware of the importance of reconciling education and work: education is the priority throughout the school year.
In this campaign, employers are put in the forefront to demonstrate the active role they can play in the school perseverance of their young student-employees and the importance of graduation for a qualified workforce.
However, educational success goes well beyond the school-work balance. This year’s campaign, in addition to highlighting the importance of good student-employee management practices, will educate employers about their expanded role in educational success by aligning with the newly created Employeurs engagés pour la réussite éducative movement, initiated by the Quebec Network for Educational Success, to which Conciliation études-travail Estrie is collaborating. Three new video (in French) featuring Estrie employers who take action for educational success will be circulating to demonstrate the range of actions that can be taken.
